

The ability to write on a scholarly level and the basic knowledge of qualitative research methods and analysis are necessary for this position. Other responsibilities may include the planning and execution of special events.ResEd (weekly) and REHS (bi-weekly) Intercultural Work Team Meetings.Bi-Weekly Diversity & Inclusion Unit Meeting.Weekly 1:1 Meetings with Assistantship Supervisor.Attend and participate in REHS trainings, meetings, and committees.Monitor and assess research trends applicable to diversity and inclusion and staff development.Assist with preparing presentations and reports related to diversity and inclusion and training.Advise and assist with development or selection of workplace climate assessment tools.Diversity and Inclusion curriculum development for staff training.Diversity & Inclusion Certification Pilot Program.


This position has primary responsibility in overseeing the development and success of the Neighborhood Black and LGBTQA+ Caucuses through intentional advisor development and leadership opportunities the GA directly advises the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer of the Residence Halls Association (RHA).
